Many in the crowd are wearing hats and caps with MLN images. Carlos Castillo Armas founded the MLN in 1954 after a CIA-supported coup d'etat against democratically elected President Jacobo Árbenz. Una multitud de hombres y mujeres asisten a un mitin de campaña por el candidato presidencial Mario Sandoval Alarcón del Movimiento de Liberación Nacional (MLN) en Chiquimula. Muchos en la multitud portan sombreros y cachuchas con imagenes pro-MLN.
