On January 1950, just a month after her divorce from first husband, John Agar Jr., Shirley Temple met WWII Navy Silver Star hero Charles Alden Black, and the two married on December 16, 1950.
Pictured are a fashionably dressed Shirley Temple and her tuxedo-clad husband, Charles Black. It appears they are attending an elegant event, possibly a premiere, though it is not known where. Photograph dated September 15, 1953.
