Photograph caption dated December 22, 1949 reads, "It'll take a real Santa Claus or a repentant car thief to make Christmas a happy one for the family of Guy R. Wilson, of 9037 Langdon Ave., Sepulveda. Thief stole daddy's car in Burbank. In the car were his tools, without which he cannot keep his job. If the car and tools are not returned, his five children will have no Christmas because he must buy new tools at once. Here 5-year-old Lynn looks sadly at ornaments she and other children had readied for tree, and Mrs. Wilson with Lynn, Kenneth, 11; Roland, 7, and puppy, Bobby, contemplate sad holiday. Other children not shown are Janell, 12, and Karen, 10."; See image #00134077 for additional photo in this series.
