Description: Photograph shows (front row, left-to-right) unidentified woman, Ronald R. Gonzales, Ken Yeager, Wiggsy Sivertsen. A group of unidentified individuals stand behind them.
Wiggsy Sivertsen co-founded BAYMEC and GALA, the Gay and Lesbian/Bisexual Student Alliance at SJSU, and helped organize the first indoor Gay Pride Day Celebration at SJSU in 1975. Ken Yeager was later elected to the San Jose City Council and to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors. Ron Gonzales served as Mayor of San Jose California from 1999-2006
