Description: Six draftsmen for Killefer Manufacturing Corporation, sit on the steps of a Killefer office, located at 3525 Downey Road in Huntington Park. Five of the men are identified as "Brodersen, Russel, Anderson, Ainscough and Weber." Killefer, established in 1892 in Los Angeles, produced heavy duty tillage implements for use on the West Coast. Deere & Company, who often contracted Killefer for equipment, eventually acquired the company in 1937. The central Los Angeles Killefer plant was closed on Jan. 6, 1969. Photo dated: December 1, 1927.
