Photograph article dated December 19, 1949 partially reads, "More than 200 prize canaries were back in their cages today after championship judging at the Golden Rule Color Club show at North Hollywood Park recreation hall. Sweepstakes winner of the Valley competition was Mrs. Betty Stachura's 'Honey Boy,' a deep red range cock. Show judge was Mrs. Bea Daniels of Rialto." Pictured are Bea Daniels, left, Betty Statchura and 'Honey Boy.'
