Description
A handwritten letter from J. Flores to Dillon S. Myer, Director, War Relocation Authority. Flores is responding to a reference request (hslb_lbph_0061) from the War Relocation Authority about his Japanese American neighbor, Shigetoshi Sugiyama, who had applied to leave the incarceration camp.
The Long Beach and Pearl Harbor collection consists of materials collected and/or created during the Historical Society of Long Beach exhibition, "Long Beach Remembers Pearl Harbor." Materials include documents, correspondence, photographs, and video recordings.
