Description
Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph system with crank handle on right side, housed in tall mahogany or dark oak cabinet with disc storage underneath. Hinged top lid opens to the top cabinet housing victrola with a 12" disc and lever for dampening the horn, which is in the second tier of the cabinet. Lower cabinet holds 36 Edison "Re-Creation" discs in vertical slots. Brass plaque affixed to inside lid reads, "Donated to San Jose Public Library by Metta J. Taylor in memory of deceased husband Alfred R. Taylor."
