Photograph of a view of the construction of the Los Angeles City Hall tower, 1926-1928. The tall rectangular tower can be seen at center. It has no walls and is formed from many steel beams. The top of the tower is tapered, while the wide base of the building can be seen towards the bottom of the image. A roof can be seen over the lower section of the building, and several cranes are visible in the foreground.
