Description
Photograph caption dated March 7, 1963 reads, "Danny Drown, that is! The UCLA swimming star from Encino, name of Drown, is encouraged by teammate Tom Landis as he makes a turn. A former Birmingham High star, Drown is one of the favorites in the butterfly events in the 'Big Six' swimming championships which opened today and will continue tomorrow and Saturday on the Bruin campus. As a sophomore, he placed in the 100 and 200-yard butterfly in the conference last year."
