Description
View of the heart of Colton's historic downtown area, looking south on 8th Street towards the San Bernardino Freeway overpass from H Street. The area is slated for showplace treatment under an $8 million redevelopment project now under way. Buildings to make way for the new look are: Hotel Anderson, built in 1907, and the old city hall and jail, circa 1890. Photo dated: July 17, 1964.
