The women wear long dresses, while the men wear long-sleeved shirts and trousers. Some of the women carry parasols. The dirt road on which they walk has a slight depression filled with water to the left of center. A rooster is visible walking across the road in the foreground. The adobe buildings of the Pueblo are visible in the background at right. A mountain range rises in the distance.
