Description
Claude Chess is the son of William Albert Chess and Minnie B. Smith Chess. His uncle Frank had come to Monrovia first and written home to William "If you want to go to heaven before dying come out to Monrovia." Claude became a radio dealer with a store on Myrtle Ave.
