Description
Resting near Old Sacramento State Historic Park, in 1999, is the "Delta King" riverboat. Prior to rehabilitation, the vessel, built in 1926, was sunk in Richmond Harbor for 15 months. After purchase, it arrived at Sacramento, under the power of two tugboats, on July 27, 1984. Restoration, which took five years, included a restaurant, 44 staterooms, and a theater.
