Description
An interview with Carl Blakkolb, who worked for Southern Pacific in Sacramento, California from 1937-1976. Blakkolb worked in the Sacramento Shops for five years as a molder's helper and thirty-four years as a crane operator. He worked in the Machine Shop, Unit Shop, Traction Motor Shop, Wheel Foundry, Boiler Shop, Brass Foundry, and Electrical Shop.
