Photograph caption dated October 19, 1959 reads, "Youth Club Receives Motor -- Lloyd Gregg of Gregg Chrysler-Plymouth in North Hollywood presented a 1959 Chrysler motor to the San Fernando Valley Youth Club, the Throttlers, to be installed in the Drag Car they are building from scratch. Club members on hand to take possession of the gift were, front row, Darrel Coram, sergeant-at-arms; Fred Pearce, Mike Lapis, Marty Keagan and Chips Fraser. In the rear are Lloyd Gregg, sponsor of the club; Mel Lewis of Gregg-Lewis Dodge, co-sponsor; Jim Saunders, service manager; the club's adviser, officer Ray S. Fisher of the Los Angeles Police Department, and S.C. Hughes, district service representative of the Chrysler Corporation."
