Title supplied by cataloger. The Exposition was launched to commemorate the landing of the Spanish padres and the founding of California. The Exposition buildings, designed by architect Hugh R. Davies, were modeled on North Africa's walled cities. Aerial view of the 1928 Pacific Southwest Exposition in Long Beach looking left from the Graham Bros. Catalina Rock facility. Buses and cars drive down the divided street that leads to the exhibition's domed entrance. Parking lots with rows of parked cars are on either side of the street. A boat leaves a wake as it passes the bardges moored by the gravel facility.
