Description
Photograph of the State Capitol grounds in Sacramento, ca.1900. A paved path lies down the center with a variety of large trees, flowers and bushes along its right side. A short palm tree encircled in small flowers stands in the foreground on the left with a manicured lawn behind it. A row of evergreen trees stands in the lawn. The nearest evergreen shades several benches which sit beneath it. A person sits in one of these benches with a patch of short, trimmed bushes just in front of him or her.
