Description: The remains of the Hacienda Del Valle, near Castaic Junction, where the Jayhawker pathfinders were brought as rescuers met them. The ranch house was built in 1839, at the time the 45,000-acre rancho was granted to the parents of Senator R. F. Del Valle.
