Two old adobes in Santa Clara. The adobe in the background with the dormer window is now the Santa Clara Women's Club. It is one of the oldest surviving adobe buildings in California and is State Historical Landmark No. 249.

Master images scanned at 300 dpi and scaled to 6000 pixels on the longest side. Bit depth: grayscale at 8-bit; color at 24-bit. Images compressed to 800 pixels across the long dimension and to JPEG format. Scanning outsourced to Luna Imaging Inc. as part of an LSTA Grant funded by the California State Library in 2003-2004. Scanning hardware is unknown.
