Description
Photographed in circa 1960, this stretch of businesses along Third Street, between L and M Streets, includes the El Arizona Restaurant at 1213 Third Street, Tijuana Billares at 1211 Third Street, the Coffee Cup at 1215 Third Street, the Stag Pool and Billiards at 1209 Third Street, and the New Grand Hotel at 1207 Third Street.
The Sacramento Redevelopment Agency destroyed these buildings as part of midcentury "urban renewal" programs.
