The 1984 Hillman Catalogue contains the following: "Pozzi, who had translated the most important oenological authors from Chaptal and Rozier to Morelot, Foureroy and Dissieux, in this work turns his attention to wine and vinegar in all phases of their production. His particular purpose was that of unmasking those who made enormous profits by adulterating these substances at the expense of public health."
