Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated August 24, 1962 partially reads, "The bodies of a 32-year-old mother and her two small children - the victims of an apparent murder-suicide - were discovered early today in the garage of their Granada Hills home. West Valley police said Mrs. Barbara Cotton Tillotson and her children, Robert Lyn, 2 1/2, and Jeanne Marie, 41/2, probably died of carbon monoxide poisoning sometime Sunday."
