Description
Many plays and piano recitals were given in the second floor auditorium of the old wooden building that was Sacred Heart School. It has since been torn down. Every St. Patrick's day a program was given with Irish songs for pastor Patrick O'Connor. Taken in the auditorium of the old Sacred Heart School in Salinas, California, May 1945. Left to right First row 1-3 unknown; 4 Heiny; 5-6 unknown. The three girls next to the piano and the first row are unknown. Tony Phillips is at the piano, but the boy to the right is unknown. Second row: Anna Elkington; two unknowns, Mary Lou Sorensen (Wyman); Jeanette Newsome (Johnson); 6-8 unknown; 9. Carolyn Jansen (Payne); 10. Clarabelle Settrini (Probert). Back row is unknown.
