In early December 1959, Rocamora, who had been the artistic director for the Hollywood Bowl at one time, was found dead in his home after having committed suicide.
Photograph caption dated October 21, 1947 reads "Glamorous Greer Garson was an object of attention in the audience, with her sparkling strapless gown. She is shown with Wynn Roccamora [sic]." They are at a performance of La Gioconda at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
