Description
Inside Cambodia: Aptly named 'Lookout,' a US Army helicopter scouts a smoke-marked landing zone inside Cambodia 5/4 where air cavalry troops moved in to cut off strategic highway in an attempt to keep any remaining Communist troops from using the road to escape by truck with supplies. The two allied task forces in Cambodia have reported killing 1,826 Communist troops while capturing 41 trucks, 220 tons of rice, 5,000 weapons and 10 tons of medical supplies in the long-time guerrilla sanctuary.
