Valley Times Today article dated July 13, 1961 partially reads, "Eight-year-old John Goodwin explained today he was watching a "funny picture" while officers were searching for him in North Hollywood. Young Goodwin returned home shortly after midnight to end the search by 10 policemen." Pictured with John Goodwin is patrolman, Lou Bobbitt.
