Description
Mr. Bolinger was owner of Bolinger's Menswear on Harvard Avenue in the Claremont Village, later working for Vortox Manufacturing Company under Herman Garner (of Claremont's Garner Family). Mr. Bolinger also took part in civic institutions in Claremont like the Rotary Club and was a member of the Claremont Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Bolinger also worked for a time a George Griswold's confectionery shop and discusses many of Claremont's early stores and businesses.
