Image shows scene with members of Boy Scout Troop #274, founded in 1936 as the first troop established in Palos Verdes, aboard the gaff-rigged ketch, "Cachalot," moored at Two Harbors at the isthmus on Catalina Island. Several scouts are visible in a dinghy at right, off the starboard bow.
