Supplementary material reads: "PHOTO CAPTION: Pretty Jo Anne Schultz, SAS Ground hostess, shown checking the manifest weight of the "Polar Tulips" which were shipped via the SAS Polar Route direct from Amsterdam to Los Angeles for the "Tulip Day" show of the California Garden Club at the California Club on Thursday, May 2nd."
