Photograph of a massive French railroad gun from World War I, ca.1915. The gun is mounted on a railroad car and facing to the right. It is painted in a camouflage pattern. Seven French artillerymen are standing on the railroad car. Two men are up front to handle the various levers and cranks used to aim the gun, while the others are further back on the vehicle. The barrel of the gun is twice as wide as the men's heads.
