Description
Lawrence writes to Archer telling him that he has found it very difficult to gather information about the evolution of the Japanese Theatre. He talks about a collection of Moronobar Hishikawa's theatrical sketches and describes a particular screen depicting a theatre. Lawrence goes on to say he will be able to spend a couple of days with Archer in September and also mentions a letter he received from John Talmer.
