Description
Photograph of two cars driving on a road through the salt beds in the Devil's Golf Course, Death Valley, ca.1900-1950. Two early-model automobiles are at center. Both cars appear to be covered coupes and have spare tires mounted behind the trunk. They are traveling to the left on a road hidden by rough rocks. The land around the road is extremely rugged and uneven. A tall mountain range is visible in the background.
