Description
"Hold for Loomis" and "Old Hotel" written in pencil on back of photo. Date-stamped with "San Jose Mercury" stamp. Mercury News clipping with caption glued to back: A Full Store of Memories: This store building, built in 1885 as a saloon and residence, is among the last of the old Robertsville buildings to be swallowed up in the push of progress. The old building, recently a liquor store, is at Branham Lane and Almaden Road, in the path of the Almaden Expressway.
