Photograph was edited for publication purposes and has several light colored stains. The name of the library was changed from North Hollywood Sidney Lanier Regional Branch to North Hollywood Amelia M. Earhart Regional Branch in 1980. Photograph caption dated May 20, 1960 reads "Five-year-old Lenny Wilson is so wrapped in conversation with Mrs. Priscilla Moxom, North Hollywood branch librarian, that he failed to see photographer present. Lenny and Mrs. Moxom discuss adventures of talking monkey character in Lenny's favorite story, 'Curious George,' which he has read several times. Lenny is son of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Wilson, 4728 Ventura Canyon Ave."
