Play, in form of mild relaxation in pleasant, sunlit day rooms, helps speed recovery of general medicine and surgery patients. Sepulveda offers facilities for 80 surgical and 70 medical patients in GMS section. Veterans with other than service connected ailments are handled on basis of available bed space.
