Letter found in the Malibu Times Scrapbook (https://pepperdine.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p15730coll8/id/1227) on page 16. 7-29-38 1205 West 5th ave Pomona Mr. Madge, I was pleased to get your card saying you had found my key for the chev; I am unable to make the trip just now, but I should be pleased if you would mail them to me. I am enclosing stamped envelope, and dollar bill which I wish you would pass on to the finder, with my appreciation; I have already ordered new keys, but I shall be glad to get the others back. I must express my appreciation for the trouble you have been put to and also your management of ("Coral Beach)" which we never fail to recommend to our friends, we have camped from Canda to Mexico and found none better.
