Description
Exterior view of the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the new United States Federal Building between Capitol Ave. and N Streets at 6th Street. This marked the initial construction of the redevelopment of Sacramento. On the dias at the microphone is Governor Pat Brown. The four men seated in the front row are, left to right: State Senator, Albert S. Rodda, Mayor Clarence L. Azevedo, Supervisor Jack Mingo, and Assemblyman, Thomas McBride.
