This circa 1915 image shows the Northern Electric Railway Depot at 801 J Street, resting at the northeast corner of Eighth and J Streets. Northern Electric started local street car service in 1907, running from the pictured depot to Thirty-First Street by way of C Street. In the background is the Hotel Windsor at 930 Eighth Street.
