Shown is a circa 1960, screen-printed menu from George E. Johnson's Cordova Lodge, a Spanish conquest themed motel built for the sum of 2,500,000 dollars in 1959. Johnson was a Turkish-born immigrant of Greek descent who operated restaurants throughout the United States before moving to Sacramento, where he also ran Johnson's Restaurant and the Del Prado Restaurant.
