Richard Wyatt's finished mural depicts Laurel and Hardy painting a mural of Sir Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh, James Cagney, and Lauren Bacall. In this photo, Lauren Bacall and James Cagney are starting to appear. The mural, acrylic on concrete, is 15' x 40' and is on the southwest corner of Hudson at Hollywood Blvd. The mural was sponsored by Councilman Michael Woo and HERE project. Photograph caption reads: "Larger than life, James Cagney and Lauren Bacall eye the crowd assembed at Hudson Street and Hollywood Boulevard yesterday to hear Councilman Michael Woo thank artist Richard Wyatt and the Hollywood Clean Team - the youths on the scaffolding who did the actual painting - for beautifying the area with their still half-finished "The Muralists".
