A month later, Stevens celebrated again at Churchill Downs, as Winning Colors became one of just a handful of fillies to win the Kentucky Derby. In the film "Seabiscuit," Stevens made his acting debut playing jockey George Wolff, who replaced "Red" Pollard aboard Seabiscuit in the match race against War Admiral. Photo dated: April 4, 1988.
