Photograph article dated August 28, 1954 reads, "Five former Chinese Red soldiers who chose to be free men and refused to return to Communist China from Korea are told today about the work being done by the American Bureau for Medical Aid for Free China after they were honored at breakfast here today. Seated at table are Dr. Kittredge Quinn and Mrs. Carveth Wells. Mr. Wells stands behind her. The Chinese are (left to right) Chang Tsun-hsien, Chien Yu-chi, Chao King-chung, Kao Cheng-chung and Hu An-kang."
