Description
Mayor John Porter, on the left, is visited by the Mayor of Berlin, Gustav Bosz. The German mayor has presented Porter with the miniature bear on the desk. (The bear is the symbol of Berlin.) The inscription on the gift was apparently made before the recent municipal elections, because the inscription is made out to the previous L.A. Mayor, George Cryer.
