A large crowd of people at a campaign rally for presidential candidate Mario Sandoval Alarcón of the National Liberation Movement (MLN) in Chiquimula. Many of the men in the crowd wear hats and waving flags. A church is seen in the background and it has two bell towers. Carlos Castillo Armas founded the MLN in 1954 after a CIA-supported coup d'etat against democratically elected President Jacobo Árbenz.
