Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee, December 24, 1964, states: "A junk yard on Northgate Boulevard was inundated yesterday and only the tops of some of the old wrecked cars in the yard could be seen. Creeks in the area spilled over their banks early in the week when heavy rain battered the entire Northern California area."
