3 images. Redondo flag pole replaced, August 6 1952. Replacing old flag pole at foot of Emerald Street, Redondo Beach -- old pole is 30-50 years old and 105 feet high.
Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Gaze. Date: 1952-08-06. Assignment: Redondo Flagpole. 35/36/24: Rotted flagpole at foot of Emerald St., Redondo Beach, estimated to be 30 to 50 years old is cut down. 90 foot boom on crane is used to lower 105 foot pole after it had been sawed".
