Caption reads, "San Pedro police poured more than 4,000 gallons of confiscated booze down the gutter on a recent 'pouring day.' All of the liquor, including whiskey, wine, gin, beer, rum and alcohol, was seized in the harbor district-San Pedro, Wilmington, Terminal Island and Harbor City. Photo shows Capt. Daniel M. Long (in uniform), commander of the San Pedro police division, watching a trustee of the harbor jail pour out a barrel of whiskey. From Wheeler-San Pedro Correspondent."
