Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Pictured is Glendale's beautiful float 'Hawaiian Paradise' which won the Rose Parade's first place in Class A, cities of 100,000 to 200,000 population. A lifelike floral statue of legendary King Kamahemeha [sic], last of the island's monarchs, dominated the entry brilliant in tropical flowers, Hawaiian cocoanut palms and ferns.
