Description
Photograph caption dated July 20, 1957 reads "Mrs. Julia Rock, 67, of North Hollywood, and granddaughter, Peggy Austafson, 14, show police window where prowler threatened Peggy, told her to open front door. When prowler chased girl to grandmother's bedroom, Mrs. Rock's screams freightened [sic] him away. Mrs. Rock said she tried to grab prowler's gun but was unsuccessful."
